I FINALLY graduate from the University of Houston with a Bachaelors of Science in Computer Science in the Summer of 2009. After a long 6 years of being in school. This piece of paper cost roughly 40,000$ to obtain, so was this all really worth it?

So lets break it down a bit then:

I finally got around to upgrading this site to drupal 5.18 since acid free's mass import on 4 didn't really work and I wanted to upload all of my California pictures (which came out rather nice I think).

Anyway, upgrading was very simple, just following the UPGRADE.txt directions got me up and running no worries. However when I tried to go from 5.18 to 6.12 everything started giving me 500 errors, which was rather frustrating so I think I will stick to 5.18 for a little while.

Changed the theme to Baron as well from voodoo_dolly since that later isn't supported in 5 :(

I could have sworn I had one of these for vista, but alas, it must have been deleted somewhere.

So I think I will write down my first impressions on 7, and when I actually start using it will compare on how far that went.

Firstly, I think this is the OS that windows Vista SHOULD have been, the beta version worked incredibly well. I love the new task bar icon doc thing. All I ever look at are the little icons anway, so collapsing everything into little squares with a picture works really well for me.

There are way too many people named Christopher Gallo out there.

I made a mini city which is kinda a neat concept... I have to get people to actually VISIT it to make it better though, so I'm not sure how cool that is. Oh well, I'll see how it goes.

1. Define a function to make a Palindrome of even length from a list by repeating the reversed list, i.e., if list = (a b c) then the function should return (a b c c b a)

2. Suppose you want to make a palindrome from a list = (x1 x2 … xn) that is an odd length and does not repeat xn, i.e. from the list (a b c) we want to make (a b c b a). Define a function to do this.

I created a new site about me! x-opher.info this site is mainly an attack on this guy since he took the domain I wanted :(

Right now I'm doing the site in Joomla, which is working out OK I suppose, still needs alot of work to look like what I want it to.
